But today, only one in ten people in need have access to assistive products.

The tech giving people power to deal with disability
One billion people around the world have a disability – that’s one in five people in Europe and America. Since they usually can’t work, their poverty rate is twice as high as the rest of the population.
If a million more disabled people could work, the UK economy would increase by 1.7%, or $64,000,000,000.
Aside from a tremendous improvement in the quality of life for those individuals, the wider distribution of Assistive Technologies makes sound economic sense.
